Marcus Lamont Brown, age 47, passed away July 26, 2022 at his home. He was born August 22, 1974. He was a member of Westgate Christian Fellowship. Marcus was employed by Gordon Food Services. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed watching UT football, grilling, baking and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bill Burns.
Survived by wife of 22 years, Kelly Brown; children, Keely Lopez (Diego), Kyle, Jalen and Jordan; grandchildren, Peyton, Parker, Piper, Kallie and Khloe; parents, Gail Brown and Ernest Brown Jr.; mother-in-law, Paula Burns; sister, Jada Nowlin; brother, Ernie Brown III; brothers-in-law, Devin Nowlin and David Burns; uncle, Clyde Brown; and a niece, nephews, and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-6pm Saturday at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Dr. Knoxville, TN 37918, with the funeral service to follow at 6pm. Pastor Mark Steinbach will officiate. Family and friends will meet at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home at 12:30pm Monday for the 1pm graveside service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
