CAMPBELL, MABEL LEE – age 80 of Knoxville passed away peacefully at home February 8, 2012 She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, family gatherings and her beloved dog Flint. Preceded in death by husband of 49 years, Joseph E. (Buster) Campbell, son; Frank E. Campbell, parents; William C. and Polly A. Barnard, sister; Lillian L. Barnard, brother; Horace (Doodle) Barnard, half-sisters; Dosie, Dell, half-brothers; Doyle, Zack, and Harrison, brothers-in-law; Earl and Herbert Campbell and Joe Whitacre, sisters-in-law; Gladys, Clara, Ann, Bernice, Irene and Maggie, niece; Lynn Whitacre. Survived by daughters, Marion (Charles) Kelley, Linda ( Larry) Daniels, son Allen Campbell, beloved sister Hazel Whitacre, sisters-in-law; June Whisnant and Alice Vittatoe, special nephew Kenneth Barnard, grandchildren; Rocky (Kim), Tina (Dean), Courtney, Chelsea, Tameika and Cynthia, great- grandchildren; Jordan, Noah, Alexis, Madilyn, Ashley, Hannah, Ryland, Lorenzo, Aland, Zoey, Kyle Jr., and Leah, great-great-grandchild Aiden, several nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends. Family will receive friends Friday, February 10, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Weavers with a chapel service to follow at 8 pm Rev. Jack Chapman officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday, February 11, 2012, 1:45 pm at Barnard-Winkler Cemetery for a 2 pm interment. Rev. Rocky Kelley officiating.
