Brinkley, Lucille D., age 91, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2013. She was a member of Inskip United Methodist Church. Lucille was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. She was an avid bowler and was secretary for a league for many years. Preceded in death by husband, Frank Saylor Brinkley; parents, Alva Edward and Kathyrn Esther Schneider; brother, Alva Earl Schneider.
Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jimmy Campbell; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen Frank and Jamelle Brinkley, James Saylor and Becky Brinkley; grandchildren, Larry Campbell and wife Heather, Cindy Arnold and husband Jim, Guy Stephen Brinkley, James Brinkley and wife, Devina, Laura Lett and husband Robert, Michael Brinkley, Phillip (Chip) Brinkley and wife Nikki, Ronnie (Skipper) Brinkley, and Benjamin (Alex) Brinkley; great-grandchildren, Sierra, Sarah Beth, Kara, Gabriel, Delilah, Parker, Allie Grace, Katie, Isabella, Ryan, Taylor, Addyson, and Allison. Special friend Nonie Mase. The family would like to thank the staff, nurses, and CNA’s of Ridgeview Terrace Nursing Home, Rutledge, NHC Nursing Home, Knoxville, and Caris Hospice.
