Louise G Farmer

Our beloved mother, Louise G. Farmer, aged 95 years, went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2023. Louise was born to William M. Gant and Lillian Scroggins Gant on July 11, 1927. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Howard E. Farmer, Sr., and several siblings. She is survived by her children; sons, Howard E. Farmer, Jr. and David D. Farmer, and daughter, Penny L. Hansen; sister Vera Faye Bridges; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She had a professional career as a CPA. After retirement, she spent the rest of her life doing what she loved; taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, going to church, flea marketing, bowling, cooking, and of course, a crossword puzzle or two.

The family will receive friends at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr. Knoxville, TN 37918, on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 11 - 12 PM, a funeral service will follow at 12 PM with Pastor Terry Gaylor of The Gospel Church where she attended officiating.
