Louis Franklin Humphrey

Rev. Louis F. Humphrey was born on March 30, 1938 in Knoxville, Tennessee. The morning of December 25, 2015 Louis F. Humphrey passed away. He was a member of New Beverly Baptist Church for over 50 years. Louis is survived by wife Marie Carney-Cardwell Humphrey; children: Julia Humphrey, Robbie, Jennifer Thomas and mother of these children Jewel Hubbs. Louis is also survived by wife Marie’s children: John Carney, Floyd Carney, George Paul Carney, James Bruce Cardwell and Kristopher Edward Cardwell. Survived by brothers: Bartley Humphrey and Eugene Humphrey; sisters: Evelyn Humphrey; nephews: Joe Humphrey Jr. Charles Humphrey & wife Ruby Humphrey; nieces: Sarah and Betsy; special grandchildren; Logan Cardwell, Daniel Thomas, Taylor Blalock, Skylei Carney, Aceleigh Pabst, Peyton Carney and many more. Louis is also survived by dear friend Mr. Wagner. Louis also had a son named Jeffrey Humphrey who is deceased. Pallbearers will be Dustin Carney, Adam Carney, Corey Pabst, Daniel Thomas, Pamela Pabst and Marie Ann Carney. The preacher for the service will be Eddie Sawyer and his daughter April Hamilton will sing. Louis F. Humphrey was a loving and caring man that served in the United States Army. Louis had a heart of gold and would do anything he could to help anyone. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. The family will receive friends Monday December 28, 2015 from7:00-8:00PM at Weaver Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00PM.
