Lois Ford

Ford, Lois P., passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014, with family by her side. Lois was born on July 13, 1930, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She graduated from Young High School and was owner/operator of Lois' Beauty Salon. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and the FEC Club, and also delivered Meals on Wheels. Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Ford after 56 years of marriage; her son, David Wayne Ford; parents, Nellie Clark and Tyler Pridemore; and brother, Paul Pridemore. Lois is survived by grandsons, David Wayne Ford II, James M. Ford; and great grandson, Hunter Ford of Kennewick, Washington; brother, Joe Pridemore; and sister, Evelyn Hill. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Cesar Correa officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2500 Maryville Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920 or the charity of your choice.
