Lisa Gail Davis, age 60, of North Knoxville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 3, 2022 surrounded by her family. Lisa was born in Morristown, Tennessee and graduated in 1979 from Morristown Hamblen West and graduated Carson-Newman College in 1983 with a degree in Accounting.
Lisa was lifelong employee with the family business at Morristown Automatic Sprinkler. Lisa was a member and servant leader at Mount Olive Baptist Church where she faithfully loved all the little children. Lisa tirelessly served as sunday school director with the Montgomery Village Baptist Center. Lisa accepted Jesus when she was eight years old and was baptised at Grace Baptist Church, Morristown.
She loved vacations to the beach with family and friends and could often be found with a good book. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Walter Davis; grandparents, Benjamin Jaroe Davis and Blanche Baxley Davis and Orville and Rhoda Bridges; mentor, Louise Dyer.
She is survived by her mother, Wanda Gail Davis; brother, Mark Davis and wife Tina; niece, Brittany Davis; nephew, Lucas Davis; uncle and aunt, Wilburn and Mary Baxter; a host of special cousins.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm, Monday, August 8, 2022 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 2500 Maryville Pike, Knoxville, TN with A Celebration of Life service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Kirby Ownby officiating.
Family and friends will meet at Hamblen Memory Gardens, 5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814 at 1 pm, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 for graveside services. Rev. James Williams, Pastor of Grace Baptist Church officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Davis, Luke Davis, Stewart Evans, Bill Hipshire, David Deneau, Kenny Rogers, Mike Martin, Jerry Campbell; Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Rogers and Ken Garrison.
