Linda Jean Perry, age 76, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. She was a member of South Knoxville Church of God, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school for many years. Linda retired from the Department of Human Services after 45 years of service. Linda was a loving daughter and niece and devoted her life to caring for them as well as many others. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, love of singing and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maggie Perry; special aunt, Mary Perry and several other beloved aunts.
Linda is survived by cousins, Donna Holden, Gail Williams, Nancy Lowe; God-Daughters, Stephanie Holden, Samantha Holden and many other beloved cousins.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for the loving, compassionate care provided by the staff at Oakwood Senior Living Facility.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 between the hours of 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rocky Glenn officiating. Family and friends will meet Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN for an 11:00 AM Interment Service.
