Lawrence "Larry" E. Lee, age 95, of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee went to his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was a proud US Army veteran. Larry attended the University of Tennessee in pre-med. After retirement, he settled in Orlando, FL but returned to Tennessee after the passing of his beloved mother.
Larry was preceded in death by mother, Hettie Jones; father, Fred E. Lee; siblings, Donald Lee from Joliet, IL, June Dietz from Greeneville, TN and Wanda Sorrell of Strawberry Plains, TN. He is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service with military honors will be provided at Lynnhurst Cemetery, Tuesday at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to your local animal shelter as Larry loved all animals.
