Larry Brent Newman, age 68, a lifelong resident of South Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Larry was a graduate of Young High School and attended the University of Tennessee. He was the long-time owner and operator of Larry B. Newman Printing Company, and he was the President of Newman and Pemberton Corporation. He was the only child of J. Roosevelt ("Rosie") Newman and Dorothy C. Newman, both of whom preceded him in death. Larry was a former member of Meridian Baptist Church and later joined First Baptist Church. Larry was survived by long-time friend David Headrick and by close friends John McCammon, Barbara Webb, Chris Webb and Jess Prouty, all of whom were very helpful to Larry during his declining health. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020, Woodlawn Cemetery, Reverend Dana Fachman officiating. Arrangements by Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
