Kimberly "Kim" Dawn Rush

Kimberly "Kim" Dawn Rush, age 49, of Newport, Tennessee, formerly of Corryton, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022. She was born on November 10, 1972. Dawn loved her family more than anything and will be greatly missed.

Dawn was preceded in death by parents, David Rush Jr. and Linda Grissom; grandparents, David Rush Sr., Mae Long, Lonzo and Cleo Grissom and her loving pet pug, Victoria Prissy Paige Rush.

She is survived by sister, Cindy (Darryl) Cutshaw; brothers, David Rush, Bryan (Rhonda) Rush; special niece, Samantha (Kraig) Haley; great-nephew Kaden; great niece, Olivia Haley; several nieces; nephews; several aunts; uncles and special friends, Terry and Judy Dawson.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation for the staff of Smokey Mountain Hospice for the special care they provided.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2022 between the hours of 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville with a service to follow at 8:00pm.
