Kenneth (Kenny) Calvin "Pap" Smith

Kenneth (Kenny) Calvin Smith "Pap" age 62, of Powell, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, August 9th, surrounded by his loving family. Pap was a devoted husband, supportive father, and doting grandfather. He was also a loyal KUB employee for 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Calvin Smith and Florence Smith and father in law Glen Overton. He is survived by his adoring wife Janice Overton Smith, his daughters and sons in law Joy and Nathan Fowler and Brooke and Brandon Hasting, and his son and daughter in law Paul and Sarah Smith, his 3 grandchildren Jayden Hasting, Zoe Fowler and Aiden Fowler, his brother and sister in law Bill and Sandy Smith and sister and brother in law Tina and John Vadnal, his mother in law Vana Overton, his brother in law and wife Donald Kay Overton and countless other family and friends. Receiving of Friends will be held Monday August 11th from 6-8pm at Weaver Funeral Home at 5815 Western Ave. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society or Mayo Clinic Lung Cancer Research in honor of Pap's courageous battle.
