Kenneth Ray Bryant

Kenneth "Ken" Ray Bryant, age 65, of Powell, TN passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was born on June 28, 1957 in Dayton, OH, to William Kenneth and Mary Agnes Bryant. He was a faithful member of West End Church of Christ. He grew up in Knoxville, TN where he met and married his sweetheart of 45 years Teresa Milligan Bryant. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He dedicated his life to coaching basketball and softball in the Powell community, and loved being at his grandchildren's games. He never wanted to miss a game, and there were very few times that he wasn't there.

Ken was greeting at the gates of Eternity by his parents, William and Mary Agnes Bryant; father-in-law, Thomas D. Milligan.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory and to mourn his passing his loving and dedicated wife of 45 years Teresa Lynn Bryant; children, Kristi (David) Simcox, Jon (Shanon) Bryant, Kandice (Ryan) Duncan; brothers, Bill (Rita) Bryant, Gary (Janie) Bryant; sisters, Peggy Huff, Martha Simerly, Susan Allen; grandchildren, Andrew (Emily) Simcox, Riley Bryant, Kayden and Kynzleigh Bryant, Brayden and Nolan Duncan; great-grandchild, Zayne Simcox, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

The family will honor Ken with services on Thursday, March 9, 2023, with a Receiving of Friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, with a Funeral Service to Follow at 7:00pm at West End Church of Christ, 8301 E. Walker Springs Lane, Knoxville, TN 37923. Family and friends will gather on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 2:45pm for a 3:00pm Committal Service at Berry Highland West Cemetery, 9931 Sherrill Blvd., Knoxville, TN 37932.
