Kathleen Miller

Miller, Kathleen Ada, age 89, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 in Pinehurst, NC. She was a member of Blount Christian Church in Maryville and retired from Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital as an LPN. She volunteered with Ft. Sanders Hospice and Ronald McDonald House. Preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Verna Huff; brother-in-law, Phil Blount. She was an independent, loving person dedicated to her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include daughters, Patricia Weber and husband Richard, Charlene Gross and husband Dwayne, Kay Dawson and husband Jim, Susan LeCoultre and husband Donald; grandchildren, Kara Cox and husband Kevin, Russ Wright, Kevin Gross and wife Jacki, Ashley Bruce and husband Wesley, Colin Dawson, Todd Dawson, Paula Beeler and husband Ronnie, and Shane Porter; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Viola Blount.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7:00 pm Thursday with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Barry Clanton officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery for the entombment service at 11 am Friday. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Ronald McDonald House, 1705 W.
