Katherine Jenkins

Katherine Countiss Jenkins - age 91 of Knoxville peacefully passed away Friday morning October 7, 2022. Her life’s work was Secretarial, mother and grandmother. She was a long time member of Smithwood Baptist Church.

Katherine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Jack L. Jenkins; parents, Clyde and Nellie Lonas Countiss. She is survived by sons, Ronnie Jenkins of Knoxville and Craig (Debbie) Jenkins of Nashville; grandchildren, Jeff (Rhonda) Jenkins, April (Glenn) Davis, Jason (Lauren) Jenkins, Jessie (Edwin) Portillo, Jennifer (Chris) Thomas and Blake Jenkins; 8 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 11th from 1-2pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with funeral service at 2pm. Pastor John Lawson officiating. Graveside service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Red Cross (Ian Relief Fund).
