Judith (Judy) R. Warren, age 84, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 25, 2023. A graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School (KY) and Pellissippi State CC (in her 40s!). She retired after a long career at Mutual Graphics Inc. in Powell, TN after previously working many years in the banking industry. She was a long-time, integral, member of Norwood Church of Christ. She was an active member of her community which included serving as the treasurer of the K-Town Sam’s Chapter of the Good Sam’s Club and a frequent Salvation Army volunteer.
Judy loved God, her family, her friends, her country, camping, and the Vols. She was a devoted wife, selfless mother, proud grandmother, and true friend. She never met a stranger, had a wonderful laugh, and was a straight talker. She left a legacy of serving others that we should strive to imitate.
Preceded in death by parents, Jack and Annabelle Benson; and brother, Jack Benson. Survived by devoted husband of 63 years, Donald (Don) Warren; sons, D. Ray Warren and wife Brandy; Daniel Warren and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Hannah, Mason, Hayden, Lillian and Ari; sister, Joan Jones and husband Melvin; sister-in-law, Betty Benson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 pm Sunday with the funeral service to follow at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive. Bob Cowles and Justin Pratt, Ministers of Norwood Church of Christ will officiate. Family and friends will meet Monday at 2:45 pm for the 3 pm Committal Service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
In the coming weeks a Celebration of Life service will be announced at the church.
