Turnmire, Joyce D., age 67, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013. Member of Stoney Gap Baptist Church in Sneedville, TN. She was a devoted wife and mother. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Myrtle Collins.
Survived by husband of 49 years, J. C. Turnmire; sons, Brent Turnmire and wife, Rhonda, Todd Turnmire and girlfriend, Libby Seal; granddaughter, Brittany Turnmire; brother, Frank Collins, Jr. and wife, Niota; sister, Frances Davis; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7pm Friday with the chapel service to follow at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Randy Webb officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 1 pm Saturday for the graveside service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mobile Meals, P.O. Box 51650, Knoxville, TN 37950.
