Joseph Daniel Wilson

Joseph Daniel Wilson (Danny), age 67 passed away on December 12, 2020. Danny was born in Knoxville on October 21, 1953. He attended Karns High School, State Technical, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a big fan of Nascar racing and enjoyed spending time at weekly family gatherings, playing games with his friends and family. Danny will be truly missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Ophelia Wilson. Survived by brothers, Howard and Larry Wilson; sister, Carolyn Cooper; nieces, Terry Andrews, Cindy Christian ,Kelly Smith; nephews, Chuck and Jimmy Flynn, Tony Wilson, and Ronnie Wilson; special cousin, Christine Sullivan. Family will receive friends Sunday, December20th at Weaver’s Chapel on Western Ave. from 2:00-4:00 pm. Family and friends will meet Monday at 11:15an at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway for an 11:30 am graveside service. Rev. Jacob Sims officiating.
