Joseph "Joe" P. Johnson, age 95, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to his Heavenly Home on Friday, February 25, 2022. Joe was born September 3, 1926 to William and Myrtle Johnson. He married Bobbie Boles on June 28, 1950. Joe was a long time member of Temple Baptist Church. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served during WWII. Joe was the advertising manager at JFG and retired in 1991. He loved photography, art and painting.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Boyd Johnson, Walter Johnson, Polly Hatcher, Mildred Cawrse, and Dorothy Young. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Bobbie Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, March 1st from 1-2pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Funeral service at 2pm with graveside service to follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery.
