My heart goes out to the whole family. I had the privilege of knowing him and all his children and Ashley for 10 years. I couldn't ask for a better friend I am honored to have known him and have him in my life for the year's he was in my life . He will always be in my heart,thoughts and prayers. I can still remember the first time I saw you. US 42 locked eyes and that was that, Our story had began from our time together I had 2 beautiful daughters and gained a family that to this day I still admire. You and I didn’t work we tried but it just wasn’t in the cards. We had some really good ups and and some pretty devastating downs. But today I’m shell shocked and at peace knowing you aren’t hurting anymore. Jon as we now navigate a life with out a well version of you the good times with you will be memories we share fluently. I’m at a loss for words for the 5 children and family you left behind. But because of you, you’ve helped create bonds between us and for that I am grateful. Grateful for the life lessons I learned and grew from in the season of us. 

Revelation 21:4

4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

We can take strength in knowing that all the hard experiences in this life are temporary; even the darkest nights turn into dawn for the faithful. When all is finished and we have endured all things with faith in Jesus Christ, we have the promise that “God shall wipe away all [the] tears from [our] eyes.”

My little brother, we were polar opposites, Yin and Yang, water sign and earth sign = mud. We fought, not all the time, but when we did it was like WWIII. We never shared the same perspective on life but maybe that’s where we learned the most from each other. I can only hope that’s true for you as well…and I hope you are finally at peace.

For all the grief you gave, for all the pain I endured and for all the times we never saw eye to eye… I still loved you. For all the fights, for all the anger and for all the miscommunication…I still loved you. You were my brother and that word is not easily used. I don’t go around calling people my brother, because it means so much more than just a term of endearment. Brother means you shared a lifetime. A lifelong pledge of blood, sweat and tears. It’s more than just a word…it’s a bond.

My youngest brother, for 40 years I endured your antics, your annoying laugh and your booming perspective on life. Always talking way too much and way too loud. Cracking jokes at the dumbest times just to make yourself laugh. But down deep, you had a kind heart and was always giving to others at their darkest times. 

I know they say ‘to live in the hearts of those we love is not to die’, but Goodbyes hurt the most when the story was not finished. Death is sad enough when anticipated, but even worse when unexpected. All the planning in the world cannot prepare us that are left behind, because the hardest part of an unexpected death is not having the opportunity to say goodbye. How lucky am I to have had a love so strong that makes saying goodbye so hard. 

The thing I do know for sure is that Goodbye is not forever and goodbye is never the end. It simply means I’ll miss you until we meet again.

You were Loved with love beyond telling. You will be Missed with a grief beyond all tears.

It breaks my heart to hear such news. You will be missed dearly by so many. You’re always going to be one of my uncles from the shop that made me laugh with silly jokes and I’m glad I got to know a soul like yours. I know you’ll keep an eye on us to make sure we’re all staying out of trouble. 💕

I grew up with Jon. We were middle school age when he moved in a few doors up. He had a contagious laugh and could always make you smile. I hadn’t seen him in a few years but was able to spend time with him around Thanksgiving a few years back. It was like we hadn’t gone a day without talking. A lot of my childhood memories include him and our friends from the neighborhood. The stories only we would know, the inside jokes.  He really was a great friend and he loved his children deeply. He will be forever missed and hold a special place in my heart.   My Prayers are with his family and  children. 

Billy and I are so sad , Jon was a good guy that we spent a lot of time with him and Liz when they were married. Our times together were precious and  even though we hadn’t seen him in a while he will always be considered our friend. Rest easy my friend and prayers for Liz , your wife , your family and children.

This truly breaks my heart. You were always the life of the party, smiling, being funny.  Life is a bit more dim now without you. You left a mark on us all and you will never be forgotten. Love ya man

Jonathan was an incredible son, marriage partner with lovely superlative wives that encouraged Jon to be the best as he could be...
And for the most part exceeded the aspects of a good father meeting the necessities of that position.........I wish I could a been as strong as my son........he was precious in his ways.....he was strong in his ways, he was educational to his children as no other.....He rocked !!!! 

He was  KIND MAN, giving, loving, independent, a wonderful man with wives......

He was wonderful in caring for his special needs brother Daniel............Daniel will certainly miss him........        🥲🥲🥲🥲

I remember Jon's very vivid blue eyes, always crinkled up into that big grin of his. I remember that he loved his daughters with everything he was.  He was boisterous, full of energy and laughter. Our family will miss you, Jon. Rest in peace, brother.
