Bryant, Johnnie Wayman, age 82, of Knoxville, formerly of Madisonville, TN, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 at home, surrounded by her family. She was a faithful member of The Lord’s Chapel. She was retired from the Bushman Clinic of Chiropractic. Preceded in death by parents, James Merle Wayman and Agnes Hitson Wayman; sisters, Eva Wayman, Sue Smith, Virginia Hendricks, June Plemmons, Judy Wayman, and Elizabeth “Jack” Smith; brothers, Leon Wayman and Bobby Wayman.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Gerald Walker; son, Donald Bryant; grandchildren, Jennifer Walker and Bryant Walker; sisters, Bertha Choate of Madisonville and Nancy Maxey of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Cathy Bryant, Connie Headrick, Tamme McDaniel, Cheryl Kashuba, and Darlene Price for all the love and care which they gave. Special thanks to Tennova Hospice, also.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday with the funeral service to follow at 8 pm at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Ken Hall officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am Thursday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel to go in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for 11 am interment.
