John Mitchell Moore, age 68, of Knoxville, entered eternal rest after a battle with myasthenia gravis on October 12, 2015. John was retired from TVA, and served in the U.S. Air Force. A beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend who loved all animals, sports and landscaping. He was preceded in death by his father, John Howard Moore; grandparents: Lillie Ballard Moore and John Albert Moore. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Saundra Moore; sister, Virginia Moore, N.C.; brother, James Moore (Carol), California; mother-in-law, Kay Craig; aunt, June Hatfield; several cousins, nieces and nephews; numerous friends, including Howard Rosser, John “Rocky” Moore and Brandon Wood; fur babies, Buddy Lee and Precious.
