John Theodore Moon Sr., "Ted" age 82, of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with his Heavenly father on Thursday, September 15, 2022. John was a carpenter for many years. He loved to play gospel music and he loved the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Moon; granddaughters, Lindsay Bravo and Tosha Williams; sister, Joyce Moon; son-in-law Rusty Troutman; great-grandson Kamden White; and mother of his children, Betty Moon.
John leaves behind his son, John T. Moon Jr and wife Tina; daughters, Teri Williams, Melissa Troutman, Amy Moon; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all his caregivers. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
