John E. Llewellyn

LLEWELLYN, JOHN E. - age 89 of Knoxville passed away July 19, 2011 at Shannondale Health Care. Member of Park West Church of God. John was a WWII veteran and retired from Oak Ridge Union Carbide Y-12 Plant. Preceded in death by parents, Dossie and Edna Llewellyn; brothers, Howard, Deadrick, and James Llewellyn; sister, Mary Amelia Llewellyn. Survived by wife Marie M Llewellyn; brother D.F. Llewellyn; sons, William (Bill) (Joan) Llewellyn, and Robert (Bob) (Bobby) Llewellyn; grandchildren, Kim Kanipe, Earlene Bolinger, John L. Llewellyn, Dawn Moore, Pagee` Llewellyn; six great-grandchildren, Doug Bolinger, Ashley Bolinger, Megan Kanipe, Hannah Kanipe, Austin Llewellyn, Haileigh Adeoba; one great-great-grandson, Michael Freeman; several nieces, nephews, and special friends of the Young at Heart Group. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Young at Heart Group at Park West Church of God. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at Weaver Funeral Home with service to follow at 8 pm. Rev. Gerald McGinnis, Rev, Jerry McMillan, and John Kanipe officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11 am interment.
