John “Buck” Lindsay, age 79, of Dandridge, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015. Buck retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a big fan of the Tennessee Vols. Buck is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Marti Lindsay; daughter, April Lindsay Copp; grandchildren Ryne Baker and Arrianna Lindsay; his dog Archie; and special friends Bill and Judy Weimer and Dan and Audrey Fleener. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Ben Atchley State Veterans Home, 1 Veterans Way Knoxville, Tennessee 37931. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E.
