John Walter Galyon, age 58, of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 3, 2023. He was a country boy at heart who loved the mountains. John was an avid fisherman and outdoors man who would rather be on the lake than anywhere. He was a devoted Minnesota Vikings and UT Vols Fan. John was a caring father and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Galyon.
John is survived by wife, Kim Galyon; sons, Jon Jon Galyon, Nicholas Galyon; parents, Anson and Marcia Galyon; grandchildren, Chloe, Wyatt, Mason and Oaklie Galyon; sisters, Lori (Greg) Pruitt, Kathy Galyon; niece, Shelly (Micah) Keech; nephew, Zach Galyon and great-nephew, Ethan Keech.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 7, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Rev.
