John H. Eaton

John H. Eaton, of Powell, TN, went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2021 at the age of 85. John was always there for those he could help and was a dedicated worker his whole life. He loved to hunt and fish when he was able. He was a faithful member and deacon at Bells Campground Baptist Church for years. He retired after over 42 years at Knox Storage. He will be dearly missed.

John was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 57 years, Betty Eaton; parents, Earl and Effie Eaton; and sister, Barbara Duckett. He is survived by his wife Ann; children, Bill Eaton and wife, Cheryl, Betsy Stroup; grandchildren, Crystal Chitwood and husband Matt, Derek Eaton, Hannah Nix, Jason Nix and wife Kathy; 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Beatrice Keeling; and other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 28th from 1:00-2:00pm at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 E. Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm, with Pastor Mike Harbin officiating, and the Interment will immediately follow.
