Jodi Annette Rowden, 51, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed Thursday, March. 25th 2021. She was born June 19,1969 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Dexter Rowden Sr. and Josephine Dotson. Jodi was a loving mother and grandmother. Jodi enjoyed art and was a fine artist. She enjoyed cooking, loved poems and writing poetry and she had a love for the character Betty Boop. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Along with her parents Jodi is preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Grace Rowden; uncles, Jackie Dotson and Roger Rowden Sr.; aunt, Linda Burrows.
Jodi is survived by her sons, Eric Carter, Robert (Ebony Moore) Carter, and Zephan Villagas of Knoxville; daughters, Britney Witt and Jalesa Rowden of Knoxville; grandchildren, Kobe Carter, Shamyjae, Damysha Moore, Charles, Bella Murray, Jaydon Breed, Lisa "Baby Lisa" Jackson, Nevaeh "Nae Nae" Witt;
brother, Dexter Rowden Jr.; sister, Lisa (Estel), Breeden Jr.; uncle's, David Rowden, Ricky (Kandy) Dotson, Tom (Marlene) Dotson; aunts, Kathy Clabough, Diane Mayes, Glenda (Byron) Gordon; special friends, Carolina Stepp, Carla Dills, Angela Thomas and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Family will receive friends Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 3:00pm - 5:00pm at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Ashville Hwy. Knoxville, with memorial service to follow at 5:00pm.
