Joan Nichols Llewellyn age 75 of Knoxville, passed away February 22, 2018 at Parkwest Hospital. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and member of the worship choir. Preceded in death by parents, Harold and Dollie Nichols; brothers, Paul, Jack and Joe; sisters, Jean, Ruth and Peggy; special aunt and uncle who raised her, Bud and Margaret Willis; cousin, Margie Willis Dickerson. Survived by loving husband of 57 years, William “Bill” Llewellyn; daughters, Kim (John) Kanipe, Earlene (Von) Bolinger and Dawn (Joe) Moore; grandchildren, Doug (Mydia) Bolinger, Ashley Bolinger, Megan (Greg) Burnette and Hannah Kanipe; great-grandchildren, Michael “MJ” Freeman, Sophia Powers and Emma Bolinger; sister, Carol Farris; special cousins, David Willis, Brenda Edwards, Linda Kitts and Vickie Llewellyn; special friend, Debbie Pruitt. Special thank you to Dr. Jeff Boruff and his staff, Christie, Natalie and Jodi, Dr. Edward Newman, Dr. Mark Weaver and the 4th floor nurses on the Montvue Tower at Parkwest , Dr. Monica Crane and Nurse Practitioner, Linda Donohoe. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Mark Braddom officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Tuesday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11 am interment.
