Jo Parks Gouldman, age 90, of Morristown, TN, passed away May 9, 2024 at Methodist Hospital, Oak Ridge, TN. She was a member of First United Methodist Church Morristown. Mother of 4 children, grand and great-grandmother, artist, craftsman, decorator, pianist, seamstress and cook. Jo was Director of Payroll at St. Mary’s Medical Center, owner of Western Heights Hardware, Collins Radiator Shop and WSMT radio station.
Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Helen Parks; brother, Jack Parks; son, Larry Collins; and step-son, Eugene Gouldman Jr.
Survived by spouse, Eugene Gouldman; children; Steve Collins, Teresa Gobble (Russ), David Watkins (Dana); step-daughter, Elizabeth Prout; step-son, John Gouldman (Dawn); grandchildren, Richard Beeler, Bethany Watkins, Shali Denison (Adam), Mary Frances Shore (Nick), John Robert Gouldman (Sarah), Brian Gouldman (Samantha), Zachary Gouldman, Sydney Gouldman, Justin Gobble (Jessica), Travis Gobble (Sarah), Kyle Gobble (Erin); great-grandchildren, Foster Denison, Emilia Gouldman, Tovah, Zoe, Joseph Shore, Landon, Kyleigh, Leah, Mason, Delaney, Rose, Jax, and Evelyn Gobble; sister-in-law, Laura Parks.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Rev. Darris Doyal and Rev. Asa Majors will officiate. Pianist is Bill Hunter. Interment will follow at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
