Our beloved Mom, Jo Ann Cinnamon “Momma Jo”, age 83 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her close family on November 17, 2022. Jo Ann was of Christian faith and loved listening to the Gaither's music whenever she could. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Cinnamon; parents Creda and Ray Rutherford; mother and father-in-law Tom and Frances Cinnamon as well as special nephew Kris Greeson. Jo Ann is survived by daughters Tammy Clonce (Mike), Michelle “‘Missi” Cinnamon-Young (Robert) and Angie Hensley (Alvin). Her brother Sonny Greeson (Leslie), Her grandchildren Shelly Clonce, Justin Booth (Danielle), Joshua Hensley, Garrett Mull, and Katie Clonce. Great grandchildren, Wrylin, Carter and Charlotte Mull, Nolan Pinkston, Kenley Moore and Avery and Haven Booth. Jo Ann graduated from Bristol Tennessee High School, she met her husband Tom in Bristol as well. They married and eventually relocated to Knoxville where they raised their three daughters. Jo Ann worked for Shoffner Mechanical Contractors and Shoffner Service Company dating back to when Shoffner was just two offices and a workshop until she retired. Jo Ann was the most amazing cook and made the best Pumpkin chiffon pies at Thanksgiving. She loved handwriting recipes of all kinds and sharing with anyone who would take one. Jo Ann was an avid reader and loved working crossword puzzles. She was a Big Orange fan and always watched them on tv to cheer them on every Saturday. Special thanks to Mom’s devoted caregivers, a special sister-in-law, Shelia Cinnamon, who was always so good to mom and helped out tremendously anytime. Also, a huge thank you to NHC Farragut and their wonderful staff. Thanks to Stephanie with UT Hospice for her loving and compassionate care for our Mother. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery at 10:45am for an 11am Graveside Service on Monday, November 21, 2022.
