Jewel M. Towe, age 87, passed away at home surrounded by all of her children on Saturday, May 21, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Daisy Cox; husband of 57 years, Richard Towe; brothers, Charles Cox and Thomas Cox; sister, Doris Thwaites; son, Steve Towe; grandchildren, D.J. Lewis, Josh Towe, and Taygan Towe; great-grandchild, Jessie Hall. Survived by daughters, Debbie Ballard (Gary), Terri Anderson (Curtis) Pat Summers; son, Rick Towe and his companion, Jama, daughter-in-law, Donna; grandchildren, Gary Ballard (Becky), Kristie Kerr (Chip), Brandon Lewis (Suzie), Heather Walker and companion Steve, Trevor Towe and Tucker Towe Bryan Jones, and Brittany Rose (Preston); great-grandchildren, Chase Kerr, Tyler Kerr, Addison Miley, Grayson Walker, Marley Corum, Carson Corum, Henley Washam, Easton Jones, Daxton Rose and Corbin Jewel Rose. Great- great- grandchild, Kay Elyse; sister, Mary Phillips; brother, Bill Cox. Special friend, Deanna McKinney. Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Weaver’s Chapel from 5:00-7:00 pm with the service to follow. Rev. Mike Sledge officiating.
