Jessie Mae Lucas

Jessie Mae Lucas, age 87, of Powell, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023. She was a member of The Church at Sterchi Hills. Preceded in death by parents, James and Helen McElroy; husband, Robert “Hoover” Lucas; son, Rodney Lucas; daughter, Lea Ann Lucas Thompson; daughter-in-law, Mary Lucas; great-granddaughter. Jessie Sierra Lucas; siblings, Irene Hayes and John McElroy. Survived by son, Larry Lucas; grandchildren, Rodney Lucas (Teresa); Chris Mayes (Vernette), Stacey Tullock (Mike), Darrin Lucas (Makayla), Dustin Lucas and Kenda Lucas; great-grandchildren, Raejone Lucas, Chance Reymer, Nevada Reymer, Robert Lucas, Lucas Mayes, Seth Sole, Emersyn Mayes, Lilliana Lucas, Nolan Lucas; brothers, Jim McElroy and Ken McElroy. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday, February 24 at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Drive, Knoxville, TN 37918. Following the visitation, family and friends will meet at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 PM graveside service.
