Our beloved Jessica A. Patty, age 42, of Knoxville, Tennessee entered her heavenly home on Saturday, November 16, 2024. Jessica was born and raised in Knoxville and was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her great-grandparents Rev. Raymond Nathaniel McConkey and Vera May McConkey; her grandfather Robert Joseph Harvey; her father Michael Joseph Patty Sr.; and her stepfather, Larry Allen Pellom.
Jessica is survived by her loving mother Teresa A. Pellom; her grandmother Judith A. Harvey; her brother Michael J. Patty and sister-in-law Ashley Patty; her sisters Tara Beth Patty and Shana Massey Hubbs; and her half sister, Mary Joe Patty. She is also survived by her two loving children Michael Adam Teasley Jr., Cadence Nicole Teasley, and her cherished grandson, Hunter Joseph Hill. She leaves behind many loved ones, family, and friends who will continue to always cherish her.
Jessica was known for her kind heart, infectious laugh, and radiant smile that brightened every room she entered. She had a deep love for her family, and her greatest joy was being a mother. Her life was a beautiful blend of warmth, humor, and selflessness. Jessica devoted her life to her lord and savior early on in her life and stood by her faith with each and every day. When loving Jessica, it was loving like Jesus.
Growing up, Jessica spent many hours behind the wheel of her father’s 18-wheeler, while seeing the world through the windshields glass on her Father’s lap, learning to drive at a young age. One of her favorite childhood memories is building a pick up truck with her dad and brother. Jessica was built tough being the oldest sister but just as she did in everything, she persevered through life. She was well known as “Sissy” and “Jess”, but her favorite name of all was “Mama.”
Her love for the outdoors, fishing, and cooking reflected her nurturing spirit, as did her devotion to caring for others. Jessica pursued her passion for caregiving, working with residents in assisted living facilities, and dedicating herself to those living with Alzheimer's disease.
A proud graduate of Lenoir City High School, where she earned honors, Jessica’s intelligence and inner beauty made a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Jessica’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her more than anything. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and laughter. If you ever had the chance to know her, you were undoubtedly touched by her kindness, and her name will forever bring a smile to your face.
A celebration of Jessica’s life will be held at a later date. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all of those who supported Jessica in her lifetime. The family will forever be thankful for Weaver Funeral Home and for all those who were lead to donate in honor and remembrance of Jessica’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation to Weaver Funeral Home of Knoxville, TN in honor of our beloved Jessica.
