Jerry Lynn Snyder Jr.

Snyder, Jerry Lynn, Jr., age 38, of South Knoxville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rev. James Thurman, grandfather and grandmother, John and Johnnie Snyder, grandmother Jean Silvey, grandfather, Wayland Jones, and aunt Sondra Cash. Survived by son, Jeremy Snyder, and daughter Jessica Snyder, of Maryville; ex-wife, Paula Snyder of Maryville; parents, Jerry and Janice Snyder, Sr. of Knoxville; Rella and Dennis Jones of Knoxville; sister, Becky (Wayne) Ratledge; brother, John (Stephanie) Snyder; grandmothers Maxine Thurman and Louise Jones; grandfather, Chuck Silvey; nephew, Lance Ratledge; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his children, Jeremy and Jessica Snyder. Family will receive friends on Friday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Rev. Jerry Crye officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mt. Olive Cemetery at 11:00 AM Saturday for interment services.
