Jerry Lynn Housewright

Housewright, Jerry Lynn 67 of Knoxville, TN went Home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 15, 2017. He was a US Naval Veteran. Jerry served at Knox County Schools for over 20 years. He was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church serving as a Deacon and on the janitorial staff. Jerry was preceded in death by parents, Alfred and Arlie Housewright; brothers, Billy and Jackie Housewright; sister, Joann Holt. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carolyn Housewright; sons, Chris (Kassy) Housewright, Alan (Jeanne) Holt; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kinsley, Karley, Sidney, Dakota; great grandchild, Colby; siblings, Leroy (Shirley) Housewright, Shirley (Leroy) Harvey, Alice (Blue) Brown; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Southside Baptist Church and longtime friend, Pastor C.W. Gresham. Family will receive friends Friday, June 16th from 5-7pm at Southside Baptist Church 1620 W. Gov. John Sevier Highway with funeral service immediately following at 7pm. Burial will take place Saturday, June 17th at 1pm at Berry Highland South on Simpson Road meeting at the graveside.
