Hackworth, Jerry Monroe, 75, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord Friday September 15, 2017, 1:40am at UT Medical Center. Born June 22, 1942 in Knoxville TN. Jerry was retired from Wise Iron Works. He loved to barter and find treasures. He was willing to trade the shirt on his back to make a trade. Jerry could sell ice to an Eskimo. He loved to fish and be outdoors. He would never miss Monday Night Wrestling. Jerry had a huge heart and he loved his family, friends, and pets. Survived by his children; Johnny Monroe Hackworth, wife Teresa, Debora Marcelle Dodson, Rhonda Gail Wright, husband Clint. Grandchildren; Andrew Thomas Sims, wife Jennifer, Joshua Holden Hackworth, wife Hannah, Brandon Charles Dodson, Jesse Logan Hackworth, Triston Cole Wright, Trenton Zane Wright. Great grandchildren; Landon Thomas Sims, Carter Aaron Sims, brothers Clifton (Buddy) Thomas Hackworth Donald (Don) Franklin Hackworth, wife Ruth, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his wife Helen Ruth Tindell Hackworth, granddaughter Ashley Nicole Dodson, Sister Barbara Jean Hemphill, parents Clifton Thomas Hackworth, Mayme Lucille Norman Hackworth.
