Jeffrey Wade Powers

Jeff was born to parents Marvin and Alice Powers on March 6, 1959. He graduated from Fulton High School in 1977 and was a graduate of Carson Newman College.

Jeff is survived by wife, Margaret Powers; his sons, Ethan and Charlie Powers. Father, Marvin Powers, sister Amy Hatmaker and husband Terry, nieces Erica (Brad) Smith and Whitney Patton, great-nieces and nephews, Ally, Parker, Avery and Jaxon. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law Charlie and Betty Little, brothers and sisters-in-law Katherine (Allen) Ragle, David (Carol) Little, Susan Little, Michael Little, Steven (Dana) Little and Carol (Derek) Morgan, many precious nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Alice Powers and his infant daughter.

Jeff loved his family deeply, loved traveling, sports, trivia and friends.

Receiving of friends will take place at Berry Highland Memorial 5315 Kingston Pike on Thursday, June 21 from 5:00 – 7:00, funeral to follow with Elder Bill Berry and Brad Clower officiating. Cremation will take place at a later date.
