Jeffery David Thomas

Jeffery David Thomas, age 52, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was a beloved and active member of Tarklin Valley Baptist Church where he was choir director. His passion was dirt track racing and he leaves behind many racing friends and family. He worked for many years at Porter Elementary in Blount County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ruth Marie Thomas, and several aunts and uncles.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Charles "Andy" and wife Sandy Thomas; niece, Opal; special friends, Joe, Kelly, Christopher, Austin, and Keelee; and many others.

Pallbearers; Austin Byrd, Joe Byrd, Chuck Cline, Christian Shinliver, Jonathan Shinliver, Bruce Suddarth and Gary Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers; Justin Emert and Kasey Thomas.

The family will receive friends Friday July 19, 2024 5PM - 7PM in the Magnolia Chapel at Berry Highland South Funeral Home with a funeral service immediately following at 7PM. Family and Friends will meet for a graveside service on Saturday July 20, 2024 at 9:45 AM Tarklin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, 8827 Jett Road, Knoxville, TN 37920.
