November 19, 1957 – September 19, 2024
As God promised when Jeff Alderson Brichetto’s earthly work was complete, our beloved husband, Dad, and Popa reached out, taking the hand of Jesus, and stepped immediately into the glory of Heaven. He is now standing face to face with his Savior, who greeted him with “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
Jeff was married to Pam, his high school sweetheart, for 48 years. He became dad to Matthew, Lauren and Nicholas. And eventually, Matthew (Sarah), Lauren (Chris) and Nicholas (Michelle) brought him the blessing of being Popa to Jase, Elizabeth, Nolan, Paul, Isaac, Owen, and Paisley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence Paul and Martha Brichetto.
Jeff lived humbly, taking pleasure in simple activities like making pancake breakfasts, cheering on the Tennessee Vols, watching trains roll by, listening to mountain streams, brewing fresh ground coffee, listening to talk radio, grilling a favorite meal, and enjoying a Friday night in-home vinyl concert on his record player.
As a young man, he became a successful entrepreneur, establishing J &T Heating and Air Conditioning. For more than 30 years, Jeff worked tirelessly to build, grow, and sustain the company, along the way providing excellent service for a host of customers, some of whom became life-long friends.
His servant-hearted nature also led him to faithfully work in churches through the years. Jeff’s roles were diverse and included driving for the Special Friends ministry; serving as a deacon; teaching RA boys; cooking for Men’s Ministry breakfast; opening and closing the buildings; and even ensuring the heat or cooling was appropriate. His greatest passion, however, was dedicated to coordinating the sound system for services, weddings, and programs, which he did for more than 30 years - always arriving early and leaving late to be sure it ran smoothly.
In Jeff’s 66 years with us there were an abundance of blessings and countless memories created, and so many yet to be. His presence will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most. We are thankful he is healed and resting now, enjoying the rewards of his earthly labor until we are together again.
