Powers, Janet Dorothy, age 66, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011. She attended Second United Methodist Church. She retired from Pilot Corporation after 17 years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by parents, William and Ruth Vicary.
Survivors include daughters, Donna McKinney and husband Jim, Nancy Harris and husband Royal; son, Stephen Powers and wife Kristin; grandchildren, Avery and Mallory McKinney, Jacob and Nathan Harris; sister, Barbara Zeto; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 pm Saturday with the funeral service at 2 pm in the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Gary Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Lynnhurst Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Second United Methodist Church, 1524 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921.
