James Harvey Stone

James Harvey Stone – age 88 of South Knoxville, peacefully passed away at home on December 5th, 2018. He was a member of Graystone Presbyterian Church and was a long-time member of the South Knoxville Optimist Club. Jim was a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving him are his son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Cindy Stone; grandsons Jake (Sara) and Andy Stone, all of San Diego, California; nephew Ben Edington (Cathy) and niece Martha Edington, both of Knoxville. Jim loved to be outdoors, to fish, and to work with his model trains. His dogs Beau and Bentley gave him much pleasure over the years. The family would like to thank his longtime caregivers Lorine and Stella for the outstanding love, care, and support provided to him. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Graystone Presbyterian Church, 139 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
