James Edward Ridner, age 70, of Knoxville, passed away suddenly Friday, September 16, 2011. Member of Callahan Road Baptist Church. He was retired from Holland Motor Express, and a proud member of Teamsters Local 519. He was a regular member of the Hardee’s Breakfast Club in Halls. Preceded in death by parents, Tom and Myrtle Ridner; brother, Tom Ridner, Jr. Survivors include wife of 50 years, Barbara Ridner, daughter and son-in-law; Kristy and Greg Thomas, brothers; Bob and Bill Ridner. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 PM Monday with the funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with the Rev. A.L. Turpin officiating.
