Ramsey, James “Buck” age 76 of Corryton passed away at his home Friday, April 13, 2012. He was of the Baptist Faith. He retired from George Dinwiddie Distributing Company. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Preceded in death by his parents Lester and Mamie Ramsey, children David Ramsey and Carol Murrell and brother Ernest Ramsey.
Survivors include his children Sherry (David) Coley, Bill Ramsey and Linda Borders, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Robert Ramsey, sisters Elsie Shipley, Etta Lambdin, Dorothy McGeorge and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5-7pm in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 7pm with Rev. Carol Thacker officiating. Interment services will be Monday at 12:30am in the Lynnhurst Cemetery, family and friends will meet at 12am in the Lynnhurst/Greenwood Chapel.
