James Milton Harris

Survived by his sons, Tony Alan Harris (Lisa Reeves Harris) and Kevin Lee Harris ( Deborah Harris); grandchildren, James Austin Harris, Danielle Moore, Scott Alan Harris (Christin Harris), Chelsea Marie McCann, Lindsay Janae Harris (Tyler Allgood), Heather Whittle (William Whittle), Lauren Carlin (Phillip Carlin), David Brackett, Kelly Grogan (Will Grogan); great-grand children, Gwendolyn Jett Timpner and Harper Jett Harris, Quinn Marie and Madison Luann McCann, Tyler Scott Allgood, Jr., Jackson and Emma Whittle, Carol-Ann, James and Matthew Carlin.

James went to George Washington High School in Alexandria, Virginia and then enlisted in the Navy, where he served for 20 years. While in the Navy he worked as a Legal Yeoman and went to Northern Virginia Community College receiving an associates in business administration. James worked 20 years for the postal service. He enjoyed walking long distances, often 5 miles at a time, with his dog Saylor and the beach and playing cards with friends.
