He was an avid Tennessee Volunteer football fan and you could often find him working on cars or playing with his pets. Jimmy enjoyed working as an equipment technician at Covenant for over 40 years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. Despite the circumstance or obstacle that he had faced he had a smile on his face and would say "I'm alright." Jimmy loved the Lord and was a humble and honorable servant to his faith, family and friends. His greatest pride was his sons and granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by parents, Donald C. Hale and Doris May Hale and younger sister, Peggy Ann Hale Haase.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sherry Derrera Hale; sons: Devin Edward Hale, Noah Keegan (Carrie Ferra) Hale, Conner Eli Hale; granddaughter, Eleanor Grace Hale; brothers: Ronald (Lisa) Hale, John (Nita) Hale; sister, Donna (Steve) Mynatt; nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Amedisys Hospice staff, especially Darlene for the wonderful care they provided.
