James Wayne Chancey

Chancey, James Wayne (Jim), age 52, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on July 4, 2013. Born November 8, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois, he was raised in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Jim was a graduate of Jefferson County High School. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by Laura Lea Mullins Chancey, Roger Chancey, and Russell Chancey. He is survived by his wife, Tina Chancey; children, Brandon Chancey, Kristen and Brandon Puckett, and Jonathan Chancey; stepchildren, Jennifer and Charles Johnson, and Anna Wolfenbarger; mother, Frances Chancey; brother, Robert Allen and wife Kathy Chancey; sister, Brenda and husband Michael Jarmusz; aunt, Betty Jo Mullins Harris; nieces and nephews Patrick and Tiffany Jarmusz, Justin and Jennifer Jarmusz, and Laura and Kenneth Rush; two Faithful Boston Terriers, Dallas and Zoey Chancey. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, July 7, 2013 with the service to follow at 8:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
