James Thomas (Hollywood) Buford age 73 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully after an extended illness at Parkwest Hospital. He attended Northside Church of Christ and loved Jesus Christ and taking his dog Bella on long walks and rides. He was a great-husband, father and grandfather. He was an Army Veteran and served in Viet Nam. Preceded in death by parents, Willie Davis Buford and Ruby Frances Lankford Buford and sister, Frances Burnette. Survived by his loving wife, Deborah Ogle Buford; son, David Buford; grandchildren, Emma Grace, Hallie Rhea and Paisley Buford; brother, Bill (Vivian) Buford; sisters, Mary Ann (Ronnie) Huffaker and Sarah Fuller; good friends, John Crawford and Gary Seals. A service at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery will be announced later.
