James Perry Bluford

James (Jimmy) Bluford, age 61, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023. He was born on December 4, 1961. James attended York High School, in Virginia, and Pellissippi State Community College. After college, he worked for Pizza Hut and quickly advanced to different management positions, retiring in early 2023. James had an immense love for his family, music and the mountains. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda (Allison) Bluford; grandmother, Rena Lee Allison; wife, Rhonda Susan Bluford. James is survived by daughters, Jamie Bluford and Ashley (Alex) Bluford; 7 grandchildren, TaMichael, Melia, Adara, Xavier, Zanaiah, ZaKiah, Manning, Alexus and Desmon; 4 great-grandchildren, Novalee, Phoenix, Ella and Aurora; brothers, Richard (Judy) Bluford and Jeffrey Bluford; sister, Teresa (Richie) Bailey; aunt, Mary Gladys Bridges; niece and nephews, Chase Gresham, Joshua Bailey and Lauren Bluford; step-father, Richard Marian; sisters-in-law, Janet (Johnny) Bennett and Carol Jean Selvidge.
