James Calvin Adkins

James (Calvin) Adkins age 76 of Knoxville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Tishie Adkins; brothers, Johnnie and Charles Adkins Jr. Calvin is survived by best friend and wife for 50 years, Shirley (McGinnis) Adkins; son, Sean (Jessica) Adkins; 3 grandchildren, Danielle, John and Tristen Hoss; best friend and brother-in-law, Mike (Sheila) McGinnis; several nieces and nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 19. 2021 at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Family and friends will meet Monday, December 20, 2021 at Eastview Memorial Gardens 1320 Andrew Johnson Hwy, Strawberry Plains 37871 for a 3:00 p.m. Graveside service, Rev.
